Found Jake's on the Lake while on a quick road trip and so glad we did. It's situated in a beautiful spot right by the water. It is a fun yet laid back atmosphere where you can relax outside and in the shade. Easy to order at the front counter with great food, drinks and friendly staff
I love this place! We drove from lafayette to eat here. The atmosphere is great. I love that there are outdoor games to play while you wait on your food. The quesadilla burger was amazing. Tacos were good. I wish the wait wasn't long on the shrimp and grits. I would love to try those next time I go. Another thing I love is that the prices are very reasonable. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere to relax, hang out and eat a great meal that doesn't break the bank... I highly recommend!!!! View of the lake is a plus.
Very nice & friendly staff, with an amazing setting right next to the lake. All open air covered eating area, with picnic tables spread out around the main part, and chairs to sit & relax in. They have an old pontoon boat as their stage for when they are having live music. They have docks you can pull your boat up to, to stop an eat while on the lake. The food was great, very tasty, of good portion size, and not too badly priced as well. Good little date night place.
